How strong is a MAXXRAXX?

The MAXXRAXX uses steel not aluminium tubing for strength and durability. All our racks are specially treated and then powder coated to ensure they also look great thoughout the many years of use you will have from your MAXXRAXX.
We give a full 5 Years Guarantee with our racks.
How many bikes can I carry?
Most vehicles can carry 4 bikes easily.
On some rugged vehicles such as certain 4x4s, you may be able to carry upto 5 bikes.
There is even a 6-bike MAXXRAXX fitted to a truck used for major cycling holidays in Mongolia!
You should not exceed the recommended nose weight rating of your vehicle. This could limit the number of bikes you are able to carry on your particular vehicle, especially if you will be towing at the same time.
