Auxiliary straps

MAXXRAXX - auxiliary strap

15AS01      £11.00

Two Auxiliary straps

Two Auxiliary straps must be used when carrying more than 2 bikes or with any number of bikes when using the height extension. The straps prevent flexing, reduce possible shock loading on the towbar and hold the bike rack completely rigid. They have been specially designed to prevent damage to the vehicle paintwork.

Any 4 or 5 bike rack is supplied with 2 auxiliary straps.

This short video demonstrates how to connect the auxiliary straps to your vehicle.    Play video button

Additional advice on using the auxiliary straps can be found in the USEFUL TIPS section.

Using a height extension

Height extension kits are normally supplied without auxiliary straps (ref 20ET40 - £30)
A kit is available with 2 auxiliary straps for owners of 2 bike cycle carriers (ref 20ET42 - £45)
